Specific Gravity of Coarse Aggregate The MD-AG500 8,000 gram Capacity Balance System is designed for use in determining for the particle density (Specific Gravity) of aggregates between 63 mm. and 5 mm. Standard ASTM C-127 The System consists of stainless steel heavy-duty support frame that incorporates a water tank mounted on a platform. A mechanical lifting device is used to raise the water tank and immerse the specimen suspended below the balance.
